About This Release
After nearly 15 years of incessant touring and with 6 releases under their belt, Widespread Panic taps it's collective creative pool to produce a total group sound on 'Til the Medicine Takes. Moving away from the familiar instrumental jam, the band has produced a tighter, more lyric-laden set of music. In fact, it is the most innovative, song-oriented album the group has ever created. 1st focus track: "Dying' Man."

Reviews
Til the Medicine Takes'' is the sixth studio album released by the Athens, GA based band Widespread Panic. The album's name refers to a line in the chorus of the 4th track "Blue Indian". It was first released by Capricorn Records on July 27, 1999. It would later be re-released in 2001 by Zomba Music Group. The band once again recorded at John Keane's studio in Athens. Special guests included The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, gospel singer Dottie Peoples, and vocalist Anne Richmond Boston. This would be the bands last record as part of the six album deal with Capricorn Records.
The album reached a peak position of #68 on the Billboard 200 chart. - Wikipedia
